Welcome to Salt Lake City

This land is the ancestral homeland of the Shoshone, Paiute, Goshute, and Ute Tribes and is encircled by the rugged Wasatch and Oquirrh mountain ranges. Utah's mountains and seasonal climate provide various outdoor opportunities, from canyons trails and water recreation to Olympic-grade winter sports.

Get to know Salt Lake City

Home to five national parks and six national monuments, autumn is the perfect time of year to take in the majestic canyons and rock formations unique to a desert landscape located a couple hours from City Center.

Minutes from the great outdoors, Salt Lake City offers all of the advantages of a metropolitan city. Many museums, restaurants, theaters, and music venues are within walking distance, but Salt Lake City provides a robust public transportation system for destinations that are further away.

Natural History Museum of Utah 3 min drive
Red Butte Gardens 4 min drive
Living Room Trail Head 4 min drive
