Joy Pierce Named Associate Dean in College of Humanities
Professor Joy Pierce of the Department of Writing and Rhetoric Studies has agreed to join our College leadership team as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs beginning August 16th.

Dear Colleagues,
I'm pleased to announce that Professor Joy Pierce of the Department of Writing and Rhetoric Studies has agreed to join our College leadership team as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs beginning August 16th. Joy's portfolio will include, among other things, overseeing the College's diversity initiatives and Title IX compliance, chairing the graduate and undergraduate curriculum committees and working with the chairs, directors and the College executive committee to review and revise policies and procedures. Joy has already accomplished a great deal in these areas and I look forward to working with her on behalf of the College. I'm certain that all of you will appreciate her presence in this position.
