Why study WRS at the Utah Asia Campus?

  • Take classes from University of Utah faculty at an English-speaking campus.
  • Complete courses for the major or minor in Writing and Rhetoric Studies while living in a high-tech, walkable city just one hour from Seoul.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

Students are strongly encouraged to apply for scholarships offered through The Office of Global Engagement, due March 1 for fall semester and October 1 for Spring semester. 

Students who have applied for at least one scholarship offered through the Office of Global Engagement may also apply for one of two $500 needs-based scholarships offered by the Department of Writing and Rhetoric Studies. Eligible students must:

  • Be a declared Writing and Rhetoric Studies Major or Minor 
  • Register for at least two Writing and Rhetoric courses during the semester at the Utah Asia Campus
  • Apply by April 1 for Fall semester and November 1 for Spring semester
