Welcome James Martak!

James Martak is an alumnus of the University of Utah. He received his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance in 2014 and recently graduated in Fall 2023 with a Master's degree in Public Administration. He has worked in higher education for sixteen years with the bulk of that time being spent as the manager of the Veteran's Services office on campus. He also works as the director of operations for a local 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization - Hot House West - that aims to create more visibility and opportunities for Utah's underrepresented musician populations.
