Meet Our New Department Chair
Professor Jennifer Andrus joined the Writing Program in 2010, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Legal Rhetorics, Rhetorics of Domestic Violence, and Discourse Analysis. Over the past decade, she has made significant contributions to research and teaching, and proved to be an invaluable asset during our development as the Department of Writing & Rhetoric Studies.
Professor Andrus is a prolific researcher and has published several articles, conference papers, and books. She comes highly decorated with multiple prestigious honors and awards, including the 2013 CCCC Technical and Scientific Award in the category of Best Original Collection of Essays.
Professor Andrus is also a passionate and inspiring educator who fosters academic excellence and intellectual curiosity in her students. Whether leading a class discussion or mentoring graduate students, Professor Andrus exercises her unwavering commitment and leads our young scholars to success.
